On September 4th, Brian May , guitarist for Queen , revealed on his social media that he had suffered "a minor stroke ." In this episode, the musician stated that the incident occurred "out of nowhere," like "a small hiccup," and also added that he had lost control of his arm.

Later, the artist praised the staff at the hospital where he was admitted: "I received the best care and attention from Frimley Hospital where I was treated." He also commented that he didn't care about "public sympathy."

"I didn't want to say anything at the time because I didn't want anything surrounding it. You know, I really don't want sympathy. Please don't do that, because it will clog my inbox and I hate that." The doctors recommended that he have complete rest to avoid accelerating his heart rate.

Speaking to The Sun in the Bizarre Column ( via RadioX ), Anita Dobson EastEnders actress , stated: “He’s been told to rest. It’s tricky to get him to rest, but he needs to, otherwise he won’t get better.”

Dobson continues: “He’s doing well, really, really well. We’re very happy.” “I’m completely confident he’ll make a full recovery.” She also states that Brian finds it difficult to relax in this situation, as the doctors have asked him to, but that at least she’s glad he’s able to maintain a good sense of humor about it.

In the past, Brian had also experienced other types of health complications, such as in 2020 when he suffered a "minor heart attack" and stated that he was "very close to death ." Doctors had discovered that the guitarist had congested three arteries after the domestic accident, which had left him "very close to death."
