Alírio Netto , from Queen Extravaganza and Shaman , spoke about his history with music, the challenge of replacing Andre Matos in Shaman, and the various projects in his career during the 69th edition of The Wikimetal Happy Hour.

The Brazilian told the story of how he joined Queen Extravaganza and also shared a funny story about the day Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen crashed a rehearsal.

“Everyone in the Queen Extravaganza has to sing,” Alírio recounts. “There’s nothing recorded, everyone has to sing. So, suddenly we go to a place to rehearse, which is the tour rehearsal, so there’s a stage, lights, everything. There I am, and then Roger Taylor, Brian May, and Jim Beach [Queen’s manager] arrive. The guys sit in chairs in front of us to watch the rehearsal.”
