“I’ve had a great journey!” declares Brian Johnson.
Brian Johnson, former lead singer of AC/DC, spoke to The Sunday Times about his departure from the band and his hearing problems.
“Every day it got harder to hear the guitars and the notes on stage, and I was basically relying on my muscle memory. And I don't like to cheat. The way I see it, I had a great journey!”
Johnson was just one of the changes the band underwent during the Rock Or Bust . Drummer Phil Rudd was forced to leave the band after facing legal proceedings, and guitarist Malcolm Young was sidelined after discovering he suffered from dementia and passed away in November 2017.
Bassist Cliff Williams announced his retirement shortly after the tour ended, leaving Angus Young as the only active member of the classic lineup.
Although the vocalist has returned to the stage a few times, he has been working on his TV show titled Cars That Rock , where he can explore his love for cars.
At this time, it is unknown what the future holds for AC/DC or Angus Young.
