Brett Tuggle died last Sunday, the 19th, at the age of 70, due to complications related to cancer. During his career, the musician played with Fleetwood Mac David Lee Roth 's band .

The news of his death was confirmed by Tuggle's son, Matt , who told Rolling Stone that the family was there for him throughout his illness. "He was very loved by his family. He was a loving father. He gave me music in my life," he said.

The loss of Brett Tuggle was acknowledged by Billy Sheehan , his bandmate in David Lee Roth's band. In his statement on social media, Sheehan said that the keyboardist was the band's "secret weapon" and paid tribute to his friend, describing him as "one of the funniest and friendliest people who ever lived," as well as "a great friend, devoted father, and indispensable component to many other great bands and tours."

Tuggle spent two decades touring with Fleetwood Mac during the band's reunion period. In addition to these two big names, his resume includes touring and recording with artists such as Jimmy Page , Chris Isaak , Steven Tyler , and the well-known Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham .
