Bret Michaels is hospitalized and Poison cancels show in Nashville.

The lead singer felt unwell and was unable to perform on Thursday night.

Last Thursday, the 30th, Poison had to cancel their participation in the Nashville show on their joint tour with  Def Leppard , Mötley Crüe and Joan Jett And The Blackhearts .

The last-minute cancellation occurred due to a health problem suffered by singer Bret Michaels , who needed to be hospitalized after "reacting badly to medication." The remaining members of Poison broke the news, taking the stage to speak to the audience. A fan captured the moment on video.

“Unfortunately, we can’t perform tonight. We love you all and the reason we’re here is to ask for a big round of applause for Joan Jett, Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe. We’ll be back in Nashville and rocking this city very soon,” assured Bobby Dall .

In a statement posted on his social media , Bret Michaels apologized to fans and said he was trying to recover "100%" to be back on stage soon.

This wasn't the first unforeseen event that occurred on the super tour with the four major bands and Classless Act . On the very first day of shows, Mötley Crüe's set had to be briefly interrupted because drummer Tommy Lee broke his ribs in an accident and is now sharing part of the setlist with Tommy Clufetos .

We wish Bret Michaels a speedy recovery!
