Grandma was at the show.
During Mastodon's show last Friday in Birmingham, Alabama, guitarist and vocalist Brent Hinds proposed to his girlfriend Raisa mid-show. A photo of the moment was shared by a fan in the audience. Hinds is the only member of the band who is not yet married.
The show was the closest the band would get to Hinds' hometown, Georgia, on this tour. The musician's mother and grandmother were also present to witness the moment, and his grandmother even went up on stage to dance while her grandson played.
