Brothers Eduardo and Matt Cavina from the band Cavina , along with São Paulo-born drummer Flipi Stipp, formed the band Madre Sun .
Tyson Schenker on guitars , son of Michael Schenker of UFO and Scorpions . Schenker had attended a Cavina show in London when he met the brothers.
The band Madre Sun has just released 2 singles which can be heard below.
The song “Black River” has in its title a reference to the hometown of the Cavina brothers, São José do Rio Preto.
The band has an innovative approach, mixing elements of classic heavy metal with blues, southern rock, and other rock n' roll genres.
