Contribute to the launch

The film “Brasil Heavy Metal”, directed by Ricardo “Micka” Michaelis, announced this week the launch of a crowdfunding campaign for the final stretch of the film's release.

“Brasil Heavy Metal” will tell the story of two teenagers who navigate the 1980s, experiencing prejudice and the emergence of a new behavior and attitude. A mix of drama and documentary, the film will address the political, social, and cultural landscape of Brazil between 1980 and 1989 through in-depth research on the birth and development of Heavy Metal in the country.
