Vermillion is by the Brazilian writer Bräo
Brazilian comic book artist Bräo , author of Cornucopia and Diva Satânica , will release his next work. The graphic novel Vermillion Slipknot song of the same name .
In the story, we follow young Persephone, who, after encountering a mysterious figure at a nightclub, has her night of fun transformed into a long night of madness, abuse, and a tragic ending.
“Vermilliön is a story I’ve wanted to tell for a while, but I didn’t know how. […] The main inspiration came from two Slipknot songs with the same name. Songs that helped me through difficult times, and I tried to keep the essence, or at least my interpretation of the songs, alive in my story. There are some references and homages scattered throughout the pages,” Bräo told the Mais QI Nerds .
