Today we're featuring three new bands, so join us on this journey and stay up-to-date on the latest rock and metal news!
1) The São Paulo-based metalcore quintet Axty has released their second EP. Titled Helpless , the work features four original singles by the group, all accompanied by videos created by vocalist Felipe Hervoso.
Helpless is heavily influenced by various metal subgenres such as djent and melodic metal. Check it out below!
Axty consists of Jonathas Peschiera (bass), Guilherme Pagani (guitar), Felipi Grivol (guitar), and Gabriel Vacari (drums), in addition to Hervoso.
2) The band Mangroov released their third single, “Castle of Silence,” last month, a mix of grunge, funk rock, and alternative rock.
According to the band themselves, the song is a turning point in their career. "We see it as our musical maturation, as a band, and as the direction we want to take our music."
Mangroov consists of Lucas Moura (vocals), Rafael Portela (guitar), Gustavo Lippo (bass), and Samuel Dantas (drums).
3) The São Paulo-based group Allen Key is working on releasing the album The Last Rhino and has released the third single, “Granted”.
The song, according to a press release, is about vocalist Karina Menascé in an all-male band. The video follows this theme, showcasing Karina's strength as she and her bandmates fight for their place.
Allen Key consists of Karina Menascé (vocalist, pianist and guitarist), Victor Anselmo (guitarist), Pedro Fornari (guitarist), Willian Moura (bassist) and Felipe Bonomo (drummer).
