While some people believe that rock is dead or that Brazilian music is limited to the most popular styles, national rock and heavy metal bands constantly prove otherwise, despite all the challenges and, unfortunately, lack of support from the local audience.
As part of Wikimetal to build bridges and promote the national scene to the rock and metal community, we bring you another National Pride with bands you need to listen to, from hard rock and blues to progressive metal: Mokshers, Charles Soulz Project, and Hell Gun.
Mokshers
If rock n' roll means liberation and self-realization in your life, then Mokshers is for you. With influences ranging from classics of various generations, from ZZ Top, Van Halen and Whitesnake to The Darkness , the hard rock and blues power trio was born among friends from music school who decided to take this shared love to the next level and create their own sound.
With five singles released since their debut in 2019, the Brazilian band is preparing their first album and is surprising with the quality of each new song: cohesion and technique meet passion in energetic and consistent tracks like "Walk of Life" and "Just Love Me Now". Recently, the band released their first ballad with a passionate declaration in the delicate "Tender".
Charles Soulz Project
With 20 years of experience as a musician for various bands and artists, keyboardist, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Charles Soulz, keyboardist for Imago Mortis since 2005, has finally brought his own musical aspirations to life with the Charles Soulz Project .

Following the release of the EP Reprog (2020), showcasing the high level of the artist, originally from Rio de Janeiro, also in a solo endeavor, from the album cover to the grandiose instrumentals, the Charles Soulz Project is preparing for the release of Split Mind on October 22nd.
The project will be the musician's first full-length album, a concept album featuring 20 artists from around the world, brought together to tell the tragic story of Rhode, a boy who loses his parents in a fire.
Hell Gun
Formed in 2013, the Paraná-based band Hell Gun caught the attention of specialized critics since the release of their first EP, Southern Hell (2015), and built a solid journey in metal up to their debut album, Kings Of Beyond (2020).

Now with a new lineup, with the arrival of Lucas Rodrigues (guitar) to complete the lineup formed by Matheus Luciano (vocals), Marllon Woicizack (bass), CJ Dubiella (drums) and Jean Fallas (guitar), the band continues with full force with the singles "Pride to the Nations" and "Pirates From Outer Space", both from 2021.
