Today we bring you three bands from São Paulo, Campinas, and Santa Catarina! So join us on this journey and stay up-to-date on the latest rock and metal news!
1) The Santa Catarina-based hard rock quartet Murdock has released the first single from their upcoming studio EP, scheduled for release this year. “Irônico Maldito” was released by the Abraxas label and reinforces their 70s-inspired stoner and blues sound.
Murdock consists of Guilherme Sezoski (guitar and vocals), Pholl Gregório (bass and vocals), Guilherme Franco (drums), and Rafael Rau (guitar).
2) With influences from rock, hard rock, and punk, the Campinas-based trio Madyhouse released their debut EP, Visceral. The work was recorded entirely live with some guitar and vocal overdubs. Check it out below!
Madyhouse consists of André Biaggio (guitar and vocals), Sérgio Telas (drums), and Muskitu (bass).
3) For hardcore fans, the São Paulo-based band Bonfire Season is a great choice! The group released the second single from their album When Words Cuts Deep Like a Knife , which will be released on April 30th. “Geometry of Black” came with a lyric video that you can watch below.
The album will follow the band's first EP, released in 2018, and continues the classic yet refreshing sound seen in their debut. Bonfire Season consists of Luca Ribeiro (vocals), Ricardo Quattucci (guitar and bass), and Cleber Freitas (drums).
