From metalcore to groove metal, this editorial team presents groups that deserve recognition in the national scene. Check out the list below.
1) The São Paulo-based metalcore band Human Kraken has just released their new single “Amaterasu”. The song is part of their new album titled FIM , which will be released in the first half of 2021.

According to the band itself, the name Human Kraken symbolizes an inner strength capable of making us conquer everything we want and be whatever we want to be. The group consists of Djair Lopes (drums), Rafael Laurindo (bass), Kayke Brito (vocals), and Leandro Mota (guitar).
2) The groove metal band CrowHead kicks off 2021 with the song "Road Dream," which blends elements of stoner, grunge, and heavy metal to talk about new beginnings – perfect for starting the year!

CrowHead consists of Márcio Iahn (vocals), Bruno Isaú and Digo Mathias (guitars), Yuri Barbaro (bass), and Bruno Borges (drums).
3) In 2020, the Curitiba-based death metal band Child o' Flames released their debut album , A New Rising , which features ten powerful original tracks.

"A New Rising" was recorded at Studio Santa, produced, mixed, and mastered by Marcos Dallarmi . Post-production was handled by Aly Fioren of Funds House. The graphic concept for the work was developed by João Vital .
Child O' Flames consists of Douglas Souza (vocals), Cesar Augusto (guitar), Will Nicolaiov (guitar), Felipe Gusinski (bass), and Felipe Raphael (drums).
4) The band SNOW released their debut album in January 2021. Fast N' Heavy Loud N' Slow features eight tracks with a sound divided between the speed and frenetic weight of hardcore and skate punk.

SNOW consists of Rodrigo Neves (vocals, guitar and drums), Andrez Machado (guitar) and Rodrigo Borba (bass).
