Brazil has reached second place in the world ranking of live concert markets, behind only the United States, according to the PwC/Live Entertainment report.
According to the Brazilian Association of Event Companies (Abeoc) and Sebrae, the sector generates around R$ 300 billion per year, equivalent to approximately 4.3% of the national GDP.
In an interview with Carta Capital, Lucas Miranda, CEO of the ticket sales platform Byma, explained the reason. “An event is the sum of planning, structure, and strategy. The audience begins to experience it long before the gates open. The way the event is promoted, the sales channel chosen, and the clarity of communication directly impact the purchase decision,” he stated.
Efficient execution helps solidify audience loyalty. This includes not only the show itself, but also the entire journey from pre-sales, accreditation, entry and reception logistics, to the post-event phase.
