A Metallica concert inspired him to write the film's script in a different way.

Actor Bradley Cooper revealed during an interview with Variety Metallica concert served as inspiration for the new film A Star Is Born , a project he wrote and co-produced.

“I’m a huge Metallica fan,” he confessed, “About six years ago, I saw one of their shows [he was on stage, behind the drums] and that scene was incredible… The songwriting was amazing and the feeling of being on stage and being a rock star… That’s why in the movie we’re always on stage.”

Cooper is responsible for the remake of the film of the same name released in 1937, and it features him as an alcoholic musician who falls in love with a young singer, played by Lady Gaga , who also helped Cooper compose the soundtrack alongside other musicians and composers such as Mark Ronson .
