Brad Delson of Linkin Park does not rule out a return to the stage.

"You never know," declared the guitarist

In an interview with Guitar World , Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson confessed that, although he hadn't planned it, there's a possibility of returning to the stage in the future.

"You never know. I don't have a crystal ball, I can't say for sure," he declared.

According to the musician, Linkin Park's hiatus allowed him to reassess the professional path he had chosen, and he doesn't feel the need to be present on stage, justifying that, at the moment, being in the studio already satisfies him.

"For me, having less time to be active in recent years has given us a great opportunity to think qualitatively about the band, what energizes us, where we feel most fulfilled, and where we thrive."

With Linkin Park's return to activity, Brad Delson announced that he would remain in the band, but would not participate in live shows.

During the chat, the guitarist didn't fail to acknowledge the talent of Alex Feder , his replacement on the From Zero World Tour .

“He’s an incredible musician and a great instrumentalist live. […] That’s why I decided to focus my energy on that area [in the studio] and have Alex as my traveling double. I think he brings a lot to the band.”

Brad also emphasized that the band's return was not aimed at preserving what already existed, but rather at putting into practice all the musical aspects that were acquired during the seven-year hiatus.

“For everyone, it wasn’t a case of: ‘Let’s go back to what we were doing.’ It was more like: ‘Let’s use what we learned during this time off to approach our roles with more self-awareness and insight.’”

He concluded by revealing that, although he enjoys sharing experiences with his bandmates on stage, he currently feels most comfortable in the studio.

"I really feel good in the studio. I love creating new things. That's what gives me energy in terms of personality.".
