To celebrate Rock Month, the publisher Belas Letras will hold the “Bookstock Festival: a month of peace, music and books” — referencing the iconic 1969 event — which begins next Monday, October 1st, and will last until the end of the month, with activities at specific times throughout the 31 days.
Between July 1st and 14th, the music catalog in paperback will have a 50% discount. Collector's editions and hardcover editions will be 15% cheaper. The promotion will be applied after using the code “BOOKSTOCK”.
In addition, the month will feature two Beatles : the book " George Harrison : The Reluctant Beatle," a biography written by Philip Norman, and the paperback version of " Paul McCartney – The Lyrics."
The book about the Fab Four guitarist will also feature an in-person Q&A session, which will take place at Livraria da Travessa bookstore in São Paulo on July 12th at 7 PM.
Gilvan Moura, technical reviewer of the book and creator of the Beatles School channel, music critic Régis Tadeu, and Sérgio Martins, editor of Billboard Brazil and music journalist, will be present at the event.
All purchases made on the publisher's website will include a sticker and a bookmark themed around the festival.
For purchases over R$ 249.90, the reader will receive an extra gift: a Bookstock squeeze bottle, limited to 150 units.
