The publisher Belas Letras has announced the release of Paul McCartney – The Lyrics , a book containing 154 lyrics by the Beatle . The edition will come in two hardcover volumes with autobiographical and artistic commentary.
Paul McCartney – The Lyrics will be released on November 2nd and contains nearly a thousand pages with over 600 items from Paul McCartney , including photographs, manuscripts, and musical notes.
“When they reach a certain age, some people like to record in writing the daily events that marked their past. But I don’t keep a diary. What I have are my songs – hundreds of them – which serve the same purpose,” McCartney says about the book.
At the author's team's request, the lyrics for the songs in the Brazilian edition will remain in English, and only Paul's stories will be translated into Portuguese. The book is already available for pre-order for R$ 499 by clicking here.
