Ozzy, Angus, and Steve Harris are teachers
The book "Rock for Little Ones," by Laura Darré Macoriello, features 13 rock stars as educators for children. The author's idea is to use idols as "teachers.".
The rock musicians chosen were Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, David Bowie, Angus Young, The B-52s, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Steve Harris, Ramones, Beatles, Kiss, and Ozzy Osbourne.
Ozzy teaches children that there's no need to be afraid of the dark. The Beatles, with a cartoon version of the famous Abbey Road cover, show the best way to cross the street.
"Rock-loving parents will be more willing and eager to sit down with their children and read about things they also enjoy," says the author.
