Lead singer will receive award in June
Vocalist Jon Bon Jovi will receive an award from the NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) for his continued efforts in combating poverty and homelessness for people at risk.
The award ceremony will take place on June 20th in Washington, DC, and recognizes the work Jon Bon Jovi has been doing leading the organization he created, the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation , which is dedicated to motivating positive change in the world and helping people's lives using a "one person at a time" .
“Jon Bon Jovi has entertained audiences around the world for decades and has earned worldwide fame and reputation as an artist and performer,” said NABEF President Marcellus Alexander. “Despite this fame, Jon has never lost his sense of community. His generous support for programs that attempt to address hunger and poverty exemplifies the award that it will be a true honor to present to him.”
