Bon Jovi inducted into the Hall of Fame and band performs classics with Richie Sambora

The band hadn't performed with Richie Sambora since 2013

Bon Jovi was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at its 33rd edition, which took place last night in Cleveland.

Lead singer Jon Bon Jovi said, "I've been writing this speech ever since the first time I grabbed a brush, pretended it was a microphone, and sang at the top of the stairs in my childhood home."

Bon Jovi added, “I’ve written this speech so many times and in so many ways. Sometimes I wrote the ‘Thank you’ speech. Other times, I wrote the ‘Fuck you’ speech. Writing has been therapeutic in many ways. Tonight I certainly see things differently than I did 10, 20, 30 years ago. In the end, time rules everything.”

Former guitarist and band founder Richie Sambora said about being part of Bon Jovi: "If I were to write a book, it would be called The Best Times of My Life."

Bon Jovi played 4 songs during the event: “Livin' On A Prayer”, “It's My Life”, “You Give Love A Bad Name” and “When We Were Us”
