Bon Jovi announced big news today: the band's new album, Bon Jovi 2020 , will be released on October 2nd, and the album's new single, "Do What You Can," is now available on streaming platforms.
The album was originally scheduled for release on May 15th, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, two new songs were added to the tracklist, inspired by recent pandemic events and the ongoing anti-racist protests in the United States.
The single “Do What You Can” was created in collaboration with fans earlier this year, when the band asked them to send in lyric suggestions for the track. The song is about helping those in need during times of hardship, and it was performed at a virtual benefit festival during the pandemic.
