The nominees for the 76th Golden Globe Awards have been announced, and the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody was a surprise.
The film, which tells the story of Freddie Mercury Queen bandmates , was nominated for two awards: Best Drama Film and Best Actor in a Drama Film for Rami Malek , who plays the band's lead singer.
The Golden Globes will take place on January 6th in Beverly Hills and will be hosted by actors Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg .
Bohemian Rhapsody was released in November of this year and has received numerous accolades from fans and critics. The film stars Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor , Gwilym Lee as Brian May , and Joseph Mazzello as John Deacon .
