Bohemian Rhapsody has officially become the highest-grossing musical biopic of all time.
Queen biopic , starring Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury , was released in late October in the US. Now, it has grossed over $600 million at the worldwide box office. $175 million of that came from the US alone, earning more than The Greatest Showman .
According to Deadline , these numbers have made Bohemian Rhapsody the highest-grossing musical biopic of all time. The previous record holder was Mamma Mia! from 2008.
