Surprise! Bob Dylan has released his new single , "False Prophet," and announced his first album of new material in almost ten years.
The track will be on the new album, which already has a name, Rough and Rowdy Ways , and a confirmed release date for the middle of next month, June 19th.
“False Prophet”, another incredible unreleased Dylan song, joins the singles “I Contain Mountains” and “Murder Most Foul” to form part of the new album.
Bob Dylan's last album of original material was The Tempest , in 2012. After that, in 2015, the legendary musician released an album of covers of great American popular songs, titled Shadows In The Night .
