Today, the 27th, Bob Dylan released "Murder Most Foul," the musician's first song in eight years, since the album Tempest in 2012.
The track, which is almost 17 minutes long (!), features the face of President John F. Kennedy on its cover ; not coincidentally, Dylan sings about the enigmatic assassination of the politician in the song.
However, the song speaks volumes, with references to The Who and the Woodstock Festival . The composer narrates in a moving way what the United States was like in the 1960s, especially from a musical point of view.
Along with the release of the song, Dylan sent a message to his fans, “Hello to my fans and followers with gratitude for all your support and loyalty over the years. This is an unreleased song that we recorded a while back that you might find interesting. Stay safe, stay watchful, and may God be with you.”
