Blythe's trial is postponed until March

Lead singer will return to the USA

According to a Prague newspaper, the trial of Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe has been postponed until March. The request for a date change came from Blythe's defense, which claimed that one of the key witnesses is ill.

Blythe will remain on trial until Thursday while witnesses are still being heard. After that day, he is expected to return to the US where he will stay until returning to the Czech Republic next month.

Blythe is being accused of involuntary manslaughter in the death of a fan during a concert in 2010. The victim's parents, Daniel Nosek, are seeking $530,000 in damages.

During the trial, witnesses testified both for and against Blythe. Friends of the victim testified, all stating that Blythe was extremely aggressive during the show. One of them claimed that after Nosek fell, the vocalist asked him if he was alright. When he said yes, Blythe continued the show.

Randy Blythe posted on his Instagram that he is not angry and asks his fans to calm down. He writes: "I am an innocent man, but also a very sad man at the moment.".
