Blink -182 is venting (and cursing) about quarantine and COVID-19 in their new track, “Quarantine”.
The band, which is working on the successor to the album Nine , released last year, seems to be in touch with its roots in the new tracks , according to producer John Feldmann , but the song released today, the 7th, has divided opinions among fans regarding its characteristic.
The song has funny moments, like telling the virus to "fuck off," or during quarantine, preferring to be stuck in the "California Department of Motor Vehicles" or in Star Tours Star Wars universe . But it also has political moments, satirizing statements made by conservative people who disbelieved in the pandemic and its severity.
