Just a few weeks after their scheduled show at Lollapalooza Brazil , blink-182 performed at both weekends of the Coachella in the United States.
The performance marked the first time the original lineup ( Mark Hoppus , Travis Barker , and Tom DeLonge ) had performed together in 8 years.
The person who surprised everyone by capturing the historic moment was Jack Hoppus , Mark's son. The 23-year-old traveled with the band and recorded the best moments on and off stage, as well as personal snapshots of moments between father and son.
Jack posted the 9-minute mini-documentary on his Instagram and made it clear that he is not a professional "vlogger," but the recording was well-received by blink-182 fans. Check it out at the end of this article.
Blink-182 was supposed to be one of the headliners at Lollapalooza Brazil at the end of March, but the band canceled all their Latin American shows due to a finger injury suffered by drummer Travis Barker. They are now confirmed to perform at Lollapalooza 2024.
