Blaze Bayley lineup EddFest's 50th anniversary Iron Maiden and will take place on July 10th and 11th at the iconic Knebworth venue in England.

The former Iron Maiden vocalist will be the main attraction on Friday the 11th, on the Maidenville stage, marking his return to the band's universe. The singer fronted the British band between 1994 and 1999. During his time there, he recorded the albums The X Factor and Virtual XI. At the festival, he will play songs from that period, revisiting that specific phase of their discography.

In a statement on social media, Bayley highlighted the importance of the invitation: “I’m thrilled to have been invited to headline Friday night at EddFest, celebrating Iron Maiden’s 50th anniversary. I’m very proud of my two albums with the band and I’m looking forward to playing some of the songs we recorded together. I can’t wait to see you all on hallowed grounds at Knebworth!”

Curated by Steve Harris

The Maidenville stage was curated by bassist and founder Steve Harris. The idea is to bring together names connected to the band's history. Among them is Gypsy's Kiss, the musician's first group before the creation of Iron Maiden.

In a statement, Harris commented on the event: “Having the opportunity to organize our own festival in Knebworth and celebrate 50 years gave me the chance to bring together friends from the past and present and create a truly special weekend for the fans.”.

“I’m very happy that Blaze will be joining us and performing some of the songs we wrote and recorded in the 90s. He’s been an important part of Iron Maiden’s career and I know the fans will be very excited to see him on the EddFest stage. It’s also great to have Gypsy’s Kiss playing with us at Knebworth. They were an important part of my musical heritage and it’s very exciting to have them playing on the Maidenville stage,” he said.
