Blaze Bayley will undergo triple bypass surgery after suffering a heart attack last Saturday, the 25th. This information comes from representatives of the former Iron Maiden member.

Bayley was on tour promoting his solo album War Within Me (2021) when he suffered the heart attack. The tour is currently suspended.

The vocalist's manager and agent, Mark and Christopher Appleton, spoke about his health: "We visited Blaze in the hospital! He's in good spirits and sitting up in bed. We talked and laughed, normally. Blaze certainly hasn't lost his humor and strength. In the next few days, he will undergo surgery, so his recovery will take a few months.
