Blaze Bayley Iron Maiden vocalist and current Wolfsbane member , suffered a heart attack and is hospitalized. The news was confirmed on the singer's social media.

In a social media post, it was announced that he suffered a heart attack on the night of Saturday the 25th, and therefore his shows will be rescheduled. The musician had a European tour scheduled for next week and in April.

"We regret to announce that Blaze suffered a heart attack at home last night and is now in the hospital in stable condition, awaiting news of further surgery/treatment," the statement said.

The text concludes: “He’s in good spirits, even under these circumstances, but totally disappointed to have to postpone our upcoming shows scheduled for March and April… Blaze can’t wait to fully recover his health and see you all again.”.

Upon receiving the news, Iron Maiden posted the following message on social media: "Everyone in Iron Maiden wishes Blaze a speedy and full recovery."

Bayley founded Wolfsbane in 1984 and was a member of the band for a decade until replacing Bruce Dickinson in Iron Maiden . He recorded two albums with the group, The X Factor and Virtual XI.
