In an interview with The Metal Voice, former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley was asked which Iron Maiden member is his closest friend:
“I got along with everyone. Some people find that strange, but I got along with Bruce before, during, and even after Iron Maiden. Bruce Dickinson has always been very supportive. He's always supported my solo work, it's been fantastic, he's encouraged me a lot. But I was closest to Steve Harris, who was like a mentor to me.”
Bayley is promoting her album “Endure and Survive”, the second part of a trilogy that began with “Infinite Entanglement”, released last year.
