Blame My Youth has released the single “Under Control” , their latest step towards alternative rock.
In a statement released to the press, Sean Van Vleet commented: “My friends and I sought to put our darkest thoughts into the lyrics of a song, and then find some redemption in the chorus. 'Under Control' came together very quickly. When you write the truth, sometimes the songs end up writing themselves. That's what happened here.”
"The message, for me, is that even when we feel like we're not in control, sometimes we have to pretend we are, and then maybe we will end up having it."
