Black Veil Brides postpones the release date of their new album to October.

Andy Biersack promises that the wait for Black Veil Brides' sixth album will be worth it.

Black Veil Brides ' new album , The Phantom Tomorrow , was supposed to be released early next month, on June 4th. However, due to logistical problems with the physical production, the band was forced to postpone the release until October 29th.

In a video, lead singer Andy Biersack explained the delay and apologized to fans, but insisted it was all for the best. For him, this means all the elements will be available in a single hit.

“As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the production industry at all levels,” he says. “The music industry has been hit hard in the sense that there is a huge backlog in the manufacturing of things like vinyl records and physical products and other integral pieces for the release of an album.”

Furthermore, he explains that with the excitement surrounding the new album, the desire was to release it as quickly as possible. "We quickly realized that, with a release date of June 4th, we couldn't have vinyl records, other physical media, comic book series, all the things we had planned," he said.

With the delay, Black Veil Brides is able to give fans the complete experience they want, instead of presenting one thing at a time.

“We know it will be disappointing for those of you who were eager to hear the full album soon, but I promise you will hear music on that date and much more in the future. We have more music videos, more singles, as I mentioned in a comic strip series and I can't go into details about that, but the return of Black Veil Brides live music is happening sooner than you think, so there will be many announcements coming,” Andy added.
