Black Veil Brides released their new single “Hallelujah” this Thursday, the 17th. Produced by
Biersack and Pitts , the track features the One Voice Ensemble from Tampa, Florida. The band is working on the follow-up to their sixth album, The Phantom Tomorrow, which was released in October 2021.
In a press release, vocalist Andy Biersack commented: “'Hallelujah' is an important song for us, not only because it's the first track on the new album, but also because it's an indicator of what's to come for the band. On a narrative level, it represents the themes and ideas I'm exploring lyrically on the album.”
He continued: “I’m fascinated by the current state of discourse and how often we seem to prioritize ideological certainty over the heart and soul of humanity. Over the years, we’ve developed a tremendous connection with our audience, which is often ignored or misinterpreted by the ‘scene.’ We’re at a unique cultural inflection point, and I want to be able to speak openly about how much I believe in being true to oneself instead of fearing collective hysteria or internal recriminations.”.
When my grandfather's voice spoke to the 'outcasts' in the opening moments of our first album in 2010, it was a sincere call to arms for all those who feel different. In many ways, this album is the natural evolution of that same idea. This is by far the heaviest and most biting Black Veil Brides album, but more importantly, I believe it's the most sincere and honest album we've ever made.”.
“Hallelujah” features an animated music video, directed by Marco Pavone . The band will continue releasing more visual content in the coming months to promote the new songs.
Black Veil Brides in Brazil
The band is on the lineup for the small Scream Invasion , which will also feature Underoath , Silverstein , Senses Fail , and I Set My Friends on Fire .
The five bands will perform on November 2nd at Vibra, in São Paulo. Tickets are already on sale on the PixelTicket website , available only in the Pista section starting at R$250 (half-price). The physical point of sale is located at Loja do Estrondo, in Galeria do Rock.
