This Friday, the 13th, Black Veil Brides released the music video for "Born Again," a song that is part of their latest concept album, The Phantom Tomorrow .
In an interview with Rock Sound , vocalist Andy Biersack gave more details about the story behind “Born Again” (via Blabbermouth ). “That song was written later in the [album's songwriting] process. We felt we needed a song that represented the joy and the idea of rebirth, with the characters from The Phantom Tomorrow finding what they believed to be their savior in the Blackbird ,” he stated.
"Throughout history you discover that this character has been sighted a few times, there's an ancient legend with an idea of the Blackbird, something that has been passed down from generation to generation, and now this is the ' phantom tomorrow ,' and people are underground saying, 'This is our chance. We will be reborn,' and singing in the streets."
