Black Veil Brides is currently touring the United States.
Andy Biersack , vocalist of Black Veil Brides , denied rumors that the band was breaking up.
The news of the split was mentioned by bassist Ashley Purdy , who said that the upcoming shows will be the last chance to see the band. “We’re doing eight shows across Southern California,” Ashley said. “That’s where you’ll see Black Veil Brides for the last time in your entire life. So you better go, because that’s what it’s going to be.”
In a statement to AltPress , Biersack said he is unaware of any imminent plans to break up the band.
“This is the first time I’ve heard about a breakup,” he said. “As far as I know, there are no plans to end the band after the tour. Or, if there are plans, I wasn’t aware of them. We’re in the early stages of working on a big 10-year retrospective release. And my personal focus as far as Black Veil Brides is concerned is on that and the upcoming Warped Tour .”
