The vocalist was inspired by the version recorded by the Sex Pistols in the 70s
Andy Biersack released a version of Frank Sinatra's classic "My Way" this Friday, the 24th.
The Black Veil Brides frontman released the cover under his stage name Andy Black, inspired by the version Sid Vicious recorded with the Sex Pistols in the late 70s.
“I’ve always loved this song, and the idea of doing this as a tribute to my influences came about while creating the cover for Alternative Press magazine,” he said in an Instagram post. He also revealed that a music video should be released soon.
The August issue of the American magazine will feature a special on Andy Black, who also graces the cover. Meanwhile, the vocalist is preparing his second solo album, alongside producer John Feldmann, who also worked on the cover.
