The Ecuadorian-Finnish band Black Sun , with their melodic heavy metal sound, has released their new single, “Rise,” their third to date. The track follows a smoother and more melodic line compared to their previous releases, “Slay the Queen” and “Drown in Sin.”
With a melancholic sound, "Rise" maintains the band's characteristic strength, with a message of personal empowerment. The music video also features a cinematic aesthetic.
The band was originally formed in Ecuador by Nicolas Estrada (drums), Christopher Grünberg (guitar), and Santiago Salem (bass). The band's new phase of success is due to the addition of Nino Laurenne and Netta Laurenne , who clearly influenced their creative approach. It's worth highlighting that all tracks on the new album are available in Dolby Atmos , demonstrating the care taken with the production quality of the music.
