The members of Black Star Riders spoke in an interview about their new album
Black Star Riders already has demos of more than a dozen songs for their fourth studio album. Recording is scheduled to begin next month in Los Angeles.
In an interview with Planet Rock , vocalist Ricky Warwick and guitarist Scott Gorham said that the addition of guitarist Christian Martucci re-energized the band.
“We’ll be going into the studio in January with our new boy, Christian Martucci from Stone Sour . He’s thrilled to be part of our family,” said Ricky.
“We already have a 16-song demo and we’re starting with Jay Ruston producing the album. We had Nick Raskulinecz on the last two albums, which was great. But Jay mixed both records. And he worked with Christian on Stone Sour. So we thought, ‘Let’s do everything in LA with Jay.’ We’re very excited.”
Scott added: “I think the sound will be a little different this time. You can tell from the demos and the different instrumentations. Not much, but you'll notice.”
