The last show will be in February
According to the British newspaper Mirror, Black Sabbath confirmed today rumors that their final show will be in their hometown of Birmingham, England. The band will play two shows in the city, on February 2nd and 4th, 2017.
Guitarist Tony Iommi commented: “We always wanted to finish in Birmingham because that’s where it all began. This is our home, from the beginning we said it had to be Brum. It would be unthinkable to end the tour anywhere else. Imagine if we finished in California? We would never stop hearing complaints from our friends and family!”
The band will also be touring Brazil at the end of the year, playing on November 30th in Curitiba (Pedreira Paulo Leminski), December 2nd in Rio de Janeiro (Apoteose), and December 4th in São Paulo (Estádio do Morumbi).
