Wikimetal's poll this week elected Black Sabbath as the best debut album in the history of heavy metal, with 29% of the votes. The album, released on Friday the 13th of February 1970, is considered by many to be the birth of this musical genre.
In second place was Kill 'Em All by Metallica (28% of the votes), followed by Iron Maiden with their self-titled album (21% of the votes).
Last month, Black Sabbath was voted the greatest English heavy rock band of all time.
