After a rehearsal version of the classic "Heaven And Hell" was shared , an unreleased track, also from 1979, has surfaced online, this time through Gary Rees , stepson of the band's longtime keyboardist, Geoff Nicholls .

The track, titled "Slapback," appears to be from one of the pre-production sessions for the seminal 1980 Heaven And Hell

Regarding the rehearsal version of “Heaven And Hell,” Gary said, “I shared [on YouTube] the complete version, closer to the album version,” explains Rees, who claims to have found the recording on a tape that didn't have Sabbath's name on it. The “Slapback” tape may have been found in the same batch. “This recording, in my opinion, is from July 1979 at their rented house in Bel Air, California. 'On And On Heaven And Hell' may have been the original title of that work.”
