Black Sabbitch, Black Sabbath cover band , has announced the release of their live album Unrest In The West on November 7th via Ripple Music .
In a press release, drummer Angie Scarpa commented: “Every night on tour, we take time to visit fans, and the number one question we get asked is, ‘When are you going to release a live album that we can buy?’ So when Ripple Music called us, the only dilemma we faced was what to include. Thirteen years later, we have a huge catalog of material we’ve played (enough for eight albums). We wanted to make a fun and impactful record that recalled our live shows. And not base it on the same old repertoire that you can hear from countless others. We hope you enjoy the selections.”
Formed in 2012 by studio drummer Angie Scarpa, Black Sabbitch quickly became a well-known band. The lineup includes Emily Burton ( Fireball Ministry ), Melanie Makaiwi ( Penny Dreadfuls, Scarling ), and Alice Austin ( Zola Turn ).
Black Sabbitch has transcended the label of "tribute band," delivering electrifying performances that honor the legacy of Black Sabbath. The band has played at major festivals, including a performance at Cal Jam with the Foo Fighters and a show at Wacken Open Air 2024 in Germany. They headlined Psycho Las Vegas and Maryland Doom Fest , and even performed at the Kiss Kruise Paul Stanley 's request .
