Ozzy says he's up for a new album and tour
At a press conference in Sweden this weekend, the members of Black Sabbath spoke about the possibilities of a new album from the band.
Ozzy commented that he, Geezer Butler, and Tony Iommi haven't concretely discussed a new album yet, but that anything is possible: "It's possible there will be a new album, but we haven't sat down to decide what we're going to do yet. We just want to finish this tour and then we'll see." Guitarist Tony Iommi added: "You never know .
The vocalist had commented to Guitar World that he would be open to a new album: “I would do a new album and a new tour. If we can manage it, great. If not, I'll go back to doing my own thing.”
Bassist Geezer Butler also recently commented that Black Sabbath already has the beginnings of a new album composed: “We have four tracks ready that didn’t make it onto “13”. So maybe we’ll do another five and complete a new album, if it works out. We wouldn’t do it just for the sake of doing it, or for money or anything else.”
