Jim Simpson Black Sabbath 's first manager , praised the trailer for the film Napoleon , which features "War Pigs".
Regarding the use of music, the manager said: “In the trailer for a movie set over 200 years ago, you can hear a Ozzy Geezer 's lyrics to the anti-war song 'War Pigs': 'Generals gathered in their masses, just like witches at black masses…' and it sounds absolutely perfect.”
"Like Beethoven , Mozart , and all the other great composers, you can imagine that Sabbath music made in Birmingham will still be played and enjoyed 200 years or more into the future as well," he concluded.
The film, starring Joaquin Phoenix, will arrive in theaters on November 22nd.
"War Pigs" in the cinema
"War Pigs" is one of the most iconic songs in Black Sabbath's career. Speaking about war, the track was also the soundtrack for another film dealing with the same theme: The King's Man .
Kingsman franchise movies and was released in early 2020.
