Black Sabbath recalls their last show and the emotional performance of "War Pigs"

The group's final performance took place on February 4, 2017

Black Sabbath reminisced about their last live performance of the classic "War Pigs" in a new social media post.

This emotional recording is from the band's farewell tour with original members Ozzy Osbourne , Tony Iommi , and Geezer Butler . The final show took place on February 4, 2017, in Birmingham, the group's hometown.

In the video of the last live performance of "War Pigs," the audience appears emotional. Encouraged by the Prince of Darkness, they sing every verse of the song in a spine-tingling chorus. The show was recorded in the film Black Sabbath: The End Of The End.

According to Setlist.fm , the song is the third most played live in Black Sabbath's history, with over 1041 recorded performances. In first place are "Paranoid" and "Iron Man", with 1087 and 1052 performances, respectively.

The grand The End Tour consisted of 81 shows and toured countries all over the world, including a stop in Brazil for shows in Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo in November 2016.
