Yesterday, the 29th, a rare rehearsal recording of the Black Sabbath , "Heaven And Hell," recorded during the pre-production of the legendary 1980 album, was shared.
According to Blabbermouth.Net , the recording was posted by Gary Rees , stepson of the band's longtime keyboardist, Geoff Nicholls, who plays bass on the track. “I shared [on YouTube] the complete version, closest to the album version,” explains Rees, who claims to have found the recording on a tape that didn't have Sabbath's name on it. “This recording, in my opinion, is from July 1979 at their rented house in Bel Air, California. 'On And On Heaven And Hell' may have been the original title of this work.”
