This Saturday, the 5th, Black Sabbath bids farewell to the stage by performing the last show of their career.

The performance will take place at a grand festival called Back To The Beginning , in the band's hometown of Birmingham, England, and will feature other bands such as Guns N' Roses , Metallica , Slayer , and many more.

For their farewell show, Black Sabbath will perform with their original lineup for the first time in 20 years, consisting of Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass), and Bill Ward (drums).

Osbourne, who is in the advanced stages of Parkinson's disease, is no longer able to tour or exert himself for extended periods. In an interview with BBC Midlands Today , Tony Iommi confirmed that the vocalist will sing some songs at the farewell show, but he doesn't know if Osbourne will be able to participate in the entire performance.

“He might not be able to do the whole show, but he will do four songs,” he assures. “He’s singing perfectly. It’s a shame to see how things are, but that’s life, I guess. You have to accept it. But we’re all excited and nervous too, which is quite unusual.”

In 2023, Ozzy Osbourne canceled his scheduled tour dates for that year, citing his health condition as the reason he was unable to travel. The vocalist quickly denied any retirement rumors and reiterated his desire to continue performing, provided it didn't involve extensive touring.
